Set up on the beach is nearing completion for the 23rd Hobie 16 Worlds. The Hobie Team has been working tirelessly for the past week assembling the 50 identical, factory supplied, Hobie 16s that now line the beach with surgical precision at La Ballena Alegre, Holiday Resort in Costa Brava, Catalonia, Spain.
Registration is open today and tomorrow between 11:00h – 13:00h & 14:00h – 17:00h for the Masters as well as other classes.
Over 200 Sailors from 6 continents and 22countries have begun arriving at the resort in preparation for the official opening tomorrow and the beginning of racing on the 15th of September.
Weather conditions are great with light cloud cover, temperatures around 26ºC and winds lifting to 10-20Kts in the afternoon. It’s going to be an amazing Hobie 16 Worlds
