Australians Dominate the Masters International Cup

In a twelve race series, contested over four days, Rod and Kerry Waterhouse from Sydney, Australia, finished with a 2nd and a 5th, on the final day, to take out the Masters International Cup, at the Hobie 16 World Championships on Captiva Island in Florida, USA.
Six points behind the Waterhouses was the American team of Mark and Grace Modderman who finished in just one of the twelve races outside of the top ten.
Taking third place was another Australian team, Darren Smith and Claire Bisgood a mere four points behind the Americans.
The first series of the regatta was dominated by Australian competitors with seven teams in the top ten. The final three was rounded out by two teams from the USA and one from Germany.

The second series of the regatta hits the water next with the Great Grand Masters, the Grand Masters, the Women and Youth divisions, all on the water at the same time.
