At the last IHCA Council meeting it was decided to reduce the Qualifying Series to those that fully supported the Hobie Class with racing at Hobie regattas, being a financial member of the Hobie Class, and owning a Hobie Cat.
The Qualifier Series is limited to 56 entries. Each of the six IHCA Regions will be given nine spots. The IHCA shall release two Qualifying reserved spots and any unused Regional spots to a first come after the 1st June 2019. Competitor’s entering must supply evidence of competing in a minimum of three Hobie Class events from 1st November 2017. This shall be verified from results and confirmation from the Regional Chairman of the IHCA in your region. Failure to comply will have your entry forfeited.
With this in mind, we request that you to verify your race results at three Hobie Regattas since 1st November 2017. When you have the verification, which can be by showing the results or other means, please send the information to Hobie Regional Chairman for verification using the form below. Your full regional chairman details can be found at the IHCA web site.
Submitting this online form does not automatically qualify you for the Qualifying Open. Final approval is required by your regional chairman and the IHCA. Once your entry has been approved you will be supplied a token for use during your entry. The entry token will be issued after 1st February 2019 when all the pre-qualifying has been finalised.
